About The Program

Key Stage 4 | Creative Writing & Literary Analysis This dynamic workshop-style course is designed to strengthen students’ understanding and application of language, grammar, and literary devices in both creative and analytical contexts. Over 12 weeks, learners will explore how writers craft meaning through sentence structure, voice, figurative language, and storytelling techniques. Students will build a solid foundation in grammar and style, then dive into similes, metaphors, personification, irony, symbolism, and more. Along the way, they'll analyse literary texts, develop their own creative pieces, and sharpen their critical thinking skills. The course culminates in an original writing project that showcases each student’s ability to effectively use the tools they've mastered. Ideal for students aiming to boost their confidence in both expressive and analytical writing, this course blends fun, creativity, and rigor.
